Delivering a Benchmark National-Level PV Laboratory: The CQC Yancheng Turnkey Project

Source: Views:

The CQC Nanjing & Yancheng Photovoltaic Laboratory represents one of the highest-standard PV testing facilities in China. Covering over 4,000 square meters, the laboratory is designed to support authoritative certification testing under IEC 61215 and IEC 61730, with full compliance to CNAS and CMA accreditation requirements.

Rather than a simple equipment installation, this project required the delivery of a complete turnkey laboratory system capable of issuing official certification reports. The facility covers 56 photovoltaic module and material standards and supports more than 520 testing capabilities, including electrical performance, safety, mechanical load, environmental aging, optical irradiation, and specialized environmental simulations.

As a leading third-party testing organization in the renewable energy sector, CQC Yancheng plays an active role in drafting industry standards and technical specifications. With over 3,000 certification reports issued annually, more than 50 advanced testing systems, and a team of over 100 quality and certification engineers, the laboratory serves more than 300 state-owned enterprises and government clients.

For Zealwe Technology, this project was not the beginning of turnkey laboratory delivery. Since 2019, Zealwe has delivered integrated PV laboratories for clients across India, Southeast Asia, and China, including ERDA, Solex, Tata, Goldi, Emmvee, Vikram, Rayzon, as well as national research institutes and certification bodies.

The CQC Yancheng project stands as a high-level validation of Zealwe’s system integration capability—demonstrating that its turnkey laboratory solutions fully meet the stringent technical, operational, and compliance requirements of national and state-owned institutions.
